If it worked, it would be the finest of scratch removers. PC is so soft I'm not sure how it'll take polishing. I wondered how these all blacked out engines would hold up to regular washing.

The matte black wrinkle coat ones hold up just fine - and I guess the texture hides any fine scratches anyway.

When they start going grey instead of black, I just wash it and then spray on a bit of S100 Engine Brightener. Comes out looking like new and stays that way through a few washes.

Mind you - it took about two years on my Dyna from new until it needed the S100.

Maybe something like Meguiar's ScratchX 2.0. Maybe try it on a inconspicuous spot (if available) to test.

Isn’t the black finish on the new Heritage powder coating?

Don't feel sorry for me... Feel sorry for my wallet.

Lol lol lol!!!!!! I felt like a maniac trading my '16 Road King for my '18 Heritage, but you've won the trophy!

You're in good company sir!! Gotta go with what moves you. Love how you announced it lol!

No idea about the scratches. I haven't noticed any on mine, but I probably need to look closer...wait, maybe I shouldn't...just live in ignorant bliss if I can't really fix it. It looks damn good to me...especially while riding!

I don't know man, some people really seem to get thier nipples twisted when it comes to new bikes. Apperantly I'm Harleys new target audience... Sad part is, I think thier right.
