There are other members more mechanically inclined than myself, but the alternator would be my first guess. That battery isn't being properly recharged and is just being drained much of the time during operation. No way it should be done in one month.

Get the alternator checked.

Can you jump start and then ride?

Do you know for a fact that the battery had a full charge when it was installed? Do you keep it on a battery tender? How often do you ride, asking to find out how quickly the battery died? Any other symptoms electrically when you rode?

Check the battery connections. The number 1 cause of your issue is loose battery cable bolts at the battery.

Charge the battery, start the bike. Check voltage at the battery. If it isn't 13.5+ at idle, going up to over 14 when you rev a little, you have a charging system problem. It could be the stator or the voltage regulator if that is the case.

The battery light flashes when voltage is too low for a period of time (I think 5 minutes) when the bike is running. It does not indicate a bad battery, but a bad charging system. Does the light go out when you are running at higher speeds?

You should also check the code that was set - it's likely voltage too low.
