Stopped to talk to an old friend for a few minutes and when I started the bike to leave, it started weird. Not not the first try. The idle was high, about 1600 and stayed that way for several miles until I stopped, shut the bike down and restarted it. Started fine as normal and idle was normal. Several miles later, I came to a stop and the idle was high again. When I pulled into my driveway, it took several seconds for the idle to return to normal. Shut down and restarted and the idle was normal. The bike ran fine otherwise, temperature was in the 60's and riding was on back roads between 40 and 55 mph. Don't know if this could be related, but when I plugged my battery maintainer in, it stated a full charge which never occurred before. Unplugged it then plugged it in again and it acted as normal, indicating an initial 95% charge.
Any ideas as to what is causing this issue? Should I re-flash my Power Vision tune?
IAC is common, cleaning works, but if cleaning does not, replacing is inevitable.
If you are looking for more info on cleaning the IAC and searching Softail forum does not help, Search the Dyna forum. There are threads there explaining it, Same intake.
Resetting ECU using the battery disconnect may help, but I highly doubt it is your Flash.
Rode the bike under many varying speeds and many stops. Everything was fine - no erratic idle or any other anomaly noticed. I will clean the IAC over the winter layup. Bike has just over 7000 miles, can the iAC get screwed up in that minimal mileage? While poking around I found a capped 2 wire plug behind the air cleaner, what is that for?

Thanks for all the advice folks...
7k should not gum up the IAC.
The plug behind the air cleaner is not used in North America if I remember correctly. I zip tied mine up behind the throttle body. My 07 Street Bob had the same connector.
