2001 Softail fatboy makeover / 200mm swap
I had a 2001 fatboy in the garage that my father in law passed away with in a crash in 2015. I recently decided to put the bike back on the road, but in the same time building it like i want. This bike has a really special meaning for me .. My plans are to do something really simple, clean and sitting low.
Here are some pics of the bike before i started.
I started to tear it appart, and got a couple of parts

-200mm conversion swingarm (got a good deal for a EVO style, so will try to make it fit)
-2013 Fatboy wheels, to fit a 200mm

Looks like a great project that he would be proud of.
Just a thought, if your FIL was cremated, you could always drill a small hole in the frame and put some of his ashes in there in his honor. If not, you could always find a place to mount a photo of him like on the inside of the oil tank are something like that.
Hope that doesn't sound to bizarre.
