Don't know the diameter, it is the Screaming Eagle Stage 1 intake.

I went with the OEM chrome Bobber style cover, which size wise, is somewhere in between the smooth and the nostalgic.

Just went out and took the air cleaner off. It measures 6.5" outside diameter at base of filter.
