I have Reinharts on order, should be here in 2-3 weeks. I measured the OD on the stock mufflers and it was about 3.5". The V & H and RC Components were both 3" mufflers. I want to keep the OEM satin heat shields. Still waiting on a Fuel Moto map too. The local dealer had a set of the Reinharts on a Heritage in the showroom and they sounded excellent.
The Rineharts sound really good. The fatboy does require the longer end caps on the mufflers or your heats shield will stick past 3", not good. I found this out the hard way as mine where packed improperly. They wanted $50 more dollars for they're mistake so I called it quits and put them back in the box. Fuel moto told me you can run the bike with no tune and it will compensate some and will be ok until the tune becomes available.
I would love to hear a sound clip of them. I know the interwebs doesn't really do exhaust sound justice, but it's gives an idea. Speaking of internet sound clips..... I just stumbled on this

I could defiantly live with that. Thanks Heaps for posting.
Once I heard the Reinharts I was almost sure I was going to order them. Now thanks to Vance and Hines coming out with the Big Radius I don't know. Decisions decisions . I'm going to go back and talk to the Harley shop again (warranty wise). I wanted to keep the satin, but the style of the V&H Radius I like. Maybe down the road I could pull the chrome shield and get them done in satin chrome. ( If I go that route).
Of course with the slip-on the bolt and go but, with the v&h it would be a tune and air also.

Fuel Moto have a "stock improved" map that works well on my 114" Fat Bob with S&S slip ons.
