I have the HD beach bars on my Heritage. I find beach bars very comfortable. I prefer an upright posture when riding and I have long arms so they work well for me. Tight U-turns are more difficult with beach bars because the bars can hit your leg. You learn to swing your leg out when making the U-turn.
They are 1.25" bars that are pre-drilled for internal wiring. Grips ends are 1". Bars are 36" wide with 2.5" of rise and 14" of pullback.
I grew up riding dirt bikes and prefer bars of that style. The Harley beach bars fit the ticket but I am not very thrilled about the chrome. Bars are just under 5 years on this second pair and I really have to keep after it to keep the rust away.
The bars are the only piece of chrome on the bike I have had issues with...Harley. Next time, I would go with another brand.
