I took the bike out for a 20 minute ride yesterday to get the oil hot for the oil change. My wife said I had a mile wide smile riding up the driveway! I also hooked up a battery tender which was pretty easy to do compared to the 2001 Sporty! The battery posts are very accessible!

Put a tender pigtail on your battery and becomes even easier.

I'm amazed the HD Dealer had a bike that old. Around here Dealers will wholesale them out and have only fairly new used bikes. They may keep an older bike that's in exceptional condition.
