I'm looking for a fork bag recommendation for my 2011 FLHTC that will mount without sitting on the fender and rubbing the paint off it. Would like genuine leather with studs and concho like the bags have. Does anyone have a link to one they are using? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
Thanks. Doesn't need to be HD branded. Did a google search. There are millions. Was hoping for a suggestion of specific ones proven to work. Nothing worse than ordering online, getting it and finding out it won't work right.
They all work, it depends on what look youre going for. Soft saggy or hard stiff.
No sexual reference intended.
Thats why I went with the used one. Broken in but still firm.
I just got the cheap soft bag from HD, removed the belt strap attachments & put Velcro in instead, easy to take off & put back on, I also keep my tool bag attached to the handle bars (street slammers) sits right on the top of the triple tree.
HD branded is way over rated. Any decent leather guy take an after market bag and add what you want. I choose leather and my goto is Fox Creek or Boss Bags.
With a little push and shove, got this bag to fit up nicely under the directional light bar on my 2018 Heritage Classic without touching the fender. Most of the others I reserched were too big in one or more dimensions. As an aside, hung this bag to help with wind buffeting...it did help.
I put a couple of felt bumpers on back side of bag wher it touches the forks to prevent any scratching.
May not be the best you can buy but not too bad looking for the price.

Looks like your bag could touch the fender when the forks compress.
