I was wondering if anyone has the detachable backrest on an '07 NT? I would like to see some pics if anyone has this unit. I am looking at getting one and would like to see what it would look like first. Thanks for any help.
Here are some pics of the detachable back rest (wrinkle black) on my 06 train. I think they look kinda goofy but that's why I got the detachable, if I am riding solo the back rest is at the house!
Yeah it looks funny but if you're ridign 2-up its worth it, plus it's in the garage when you don't need it... I think it was a good investment to get her to ride more often... if you get it in black its cheaper too!
Oh yeah it would definetly be black, the less chrome to polish the better And yeah I would have to get the detachable since Im not a big fan of the rests. But at the same time like hammer02 has said in another post " a sporty is the best solo seat" actually looking at a rest more for the reason of a place to hold bags and stuff on trips, not a fan of saddlebags on a NT.
