I use FOBO and love it works well i would recommend you use the recommended Steel Tee valves very nice and easy to put air in and out of your tires sensor goes on top side valve for air very easy if set up this way. Pressure sendings are adjustable to were you like them gives tires and tire temps at all time i run 40 and 42 psi, also sends you low pressure alerts to your phone. Its well worth the money your tires will last longer you always know were your tire pressures are a great peace of mind love mine would ride with out it.

The Heritage has valve stems that are located on the side of the rim so they protrude outwardly.
This makes it easier to check the pressure but the FOBO looks like a pretty big cap so it would protrude even more outwardly when installed.

I suppose I could get off my fat *** and crawl under the bike and judge the clearance for myself, but I thought I'd post the question here to not only get a clearance answer but perhaps get what others have experienced with the TPMS in generally.
My RG is at the dealers now. I'll see if they would take one of the sensors and put it on a heritage to see if there are any clearance issues.

Damn, they're pretty responsive when they're waiting on you to sign for a new CVO.

One of the parts guys tried it on a 18 heritage and no clearance issues at all. That of course was on a stock rubber valve stem. If you go the Fobo route upgrade to a metal valve stem, there are a few threads on here of guys with rubber stems that didn't work out well. He said it looked like the metal T stem would easily fit with no issues.

Fobo I tried was not compatable with version of Android I was using (7.0). They suggested a possible workaround but that also ended up not working. Thankfully the EBay seller refunded with no problem.

Thanks for the extra effort here.
As for changing the valve stem; I've got tubes so that's not possible.

I'll just order them and we'll see how it goes.

Thanks all.

I have the FOBO system on my 2016 Heritage.

I do like having the ability to better monitor my tire pressure. It seems to be about +/- a pound or so.

No issues with the tube stem after 12k miles.

I did have to have the plastic covers replaced under warranty and while I was at it, replaced the batteries as they were showing low after about year.
