Default anyone tried putting a 5 gallon tank on the 2018 breakout?

As the title is saying I am curious to know if someone has tried or has done it, the breakout was on the top of my list for my next one but I can't get over the new look with the 3.5 gallon tank. I know it's a taste question and this is a a thread to discuss taste but to see if it's doable and at what cost it end up.

This was brought up before if you do a search for it. Possible solution is some company in Germany or just get a 2017 Breakout.

I know I can get an older one thanks, but I asked for the 2018 maybe because I like the idea of having the M8 and the new frame.

Thunderbike in Germany did one https://www.themaven.net/asphaltandd...50SXv9dW17uLvA
I would do what ever it takes to fit the Fatboy tank, that would drastically improve the look of the 18 Breakout. Throw in some triple trees with about 3deg of rake to try to get back the 3" of length lost and the Breakout will start to look like what it was supposed to look like in the first place. I bought a 17, then I had to throw a crapload of money into it, engine, suspension, to get it where it is comparable with the 18. Had I waited for the 18s to come out before buying, I still would have bought the 17.

That tank is ridiculously out of proportion on the BO. I'm sure the FB tank would fit; same frame, right?

I have read that the two frames have different part #s, but almost nothing can't be made to fit if you know what your doing.

The Breakout, Fatboy and Fatbob have their own frames, the rest share a frame.
