I have an opportunity to buy a 1992 Heritage Softail Classic with 25,000 miles for $4,100. Any thoughts on this deal?

If it's good shape and you can keep it that way . I don't think you will lose anything on it Evos seems to be on the rise for owning. I bought an 03 for 4 k. The way I look at it I didn't lose the 13.000 dollars from new .

Check the tires, if they're older than 3 years, they need to be replaced. Check for leaks and seepage around the rocker boxes, primary, shift shaft seal, and shift linkage.

If it is clean and good shape. I would . Just remember your are buying a bike that has been out of production a long time. It is not an investment but a cool ride you will like enjoy. If you don't, likely you could recover most of what you spend on it . If you wait for the right buyer.
I still have my 1996 FB and would never part with it.

That $4100 is actually under valued... 92 was the first year of Head breathers and upgraded trans. They were a little underpowered but nothing that can't get remedied. Well worth it.... If you do get it, reroute the breathers to atmosphere. Sucking it back into the motor "SUCKS"........
