Default 2002 Fatboy Primary Tensioner......
So, today I adjusted my primary tensioner so it has 9/16" play in the chain. While adjusting the tensioner I noticed some mild wear on the tensioner shoe. My bike has 38,000 miles and I'm curious about how long the primary tensioner shoe will last. Anybody know how long they last? I looked in the service manual and couldn't find any mention of it. Thanx in advance.

My '06 had some minor wear on the primary tensioner, with just 6K on it; not much change when I checked it 18K. I think they wear in a bit, and then stop. If you're worried they are cheap and easy to replace.
