Before moving them, I would make sure which one goes where on the bulb. I didn't make sure and had to take it apart again. If I left the plugs as is, would it still work? If so I assume HIGH on the switch would be Low and vice versa?

When you get the new bulb I would check and see what tab is what on it. Find out which one is your high, low , and ground. Then go from there. Yes, if the high and low are opposite, then the switch position would be opposite. Not sure if there is a difference from your bike to mine. Mines a 1989. I wouldn't imagine there is a difference. I will say this though, I got my bike used and the wiring was a rat's nest. So I'm not sure what it was supposed to be. I just went off of what is WAS and went from there.

Gottcha, ok, thanks again for the info. The bulb shipped today. I'll keep ya posted.

The Sunpie came yesterday- quite pleased!! And for $43 its a steal...just as bright as the wife's trike HD daymaker...same configuration too.

Got the entire light assembly...will be riding in the dark tonight, so will let you know how that goes. Been crazy rainy here in NoCal the last couple of days...
