2012 Heritage Classic. Looking for auxiliary power plug
I am looking for a way to tap into a switched auxiliary power source. I was going to use a fuse tap like in the attached picture but with the fuse block like it is that is not possible. I have read somewhere that there is a aux power plug somewhere on the bike. The orange wire I think.
Anyone have a clue?
Also, what is the best service manual for this bike? OEM Harley manual or a aftermarket?
Depends on what you're trying to power. I have a battery maintainer lead on mine, and have the USB adapter that plugs into it so I can charge my phone while riding. Using adapters that go off the maintainer lead are one of the best ways to do it. OEM manual is the best way to go IMO
