Default Spring seat question

Hey guys. I just installed a spring seat kit but the studs are 8 inches apart and I’m having trouble finding a seat. Does anyone know of a company that makes a seat with 8 inch stud spacing? Any help would be appreciated.

thank you!

A wide variety of the narrow solo's available from Harley, Corbin Gentry, and nameless Chinese companies on ebay.

I bought one from mother road customs recently. I don't know the width, but they can probably make anything to spec. I asked them for a little more lip on mine and they accommodated. Also were cool enough to give a gel upgrade for free because my bike didn't need the ecm cover.

What kit did you install & didn't them offer a seat?

I bought a shadetree and just wasn’t feeling the seat. I made a custom bracket and drilled holes and made it work. But was just curious if anyone else ran into this

Not all narrow solo's are created equal. The one on my Son's Sportster gets painful after about an hour.

The one on my Softail can be ridden all day.

You just need to find one you like.

Exact-a-mundo.....it ain't about the padding...it's about the shape. My stock bones seat had thick padding and it wasn't that comfortable. I switched to a WLA reproduction (less padding) and what a difference. But both were the same "tractor" shape seat.
