Congrats!
For me it's one of the best bikes in my 37 riding years.
Do's: Full Dyno stage 1 plus Screaming Eagle Street Cannons. I actually like the looks of them, fits the robust look of the FB. Skinny 2 in ones not so much imho. One more, get the 15" windscreen perfect. I'm 6ft tall)
Dont's: scrape the pegs too much when she asks for it

Reason: Typo
Sadly we seem to be really limited on choice for pipes at the moment in the UK, i may end up picking up a set of V&H Slip ons for now until i decide on a full system later down the line.
Forward controls is something i really want to do, but they dont seem to exist without a heavy degree of fabrication.
This is the longest week ever waiting for the ride... she's in a warehouse in Belgium, getting shipped over to my local dealer in the coming days. We've got a really nice bout of 20c+ weather at the moment, hopefully that'll continue through until collection
you can join "harley m8 softail owners group" on Facebook and I did an entire parts list and install hints for the forward controls. About an easy hour job. No fab. Required.

Nice! I'll take a look.
I wonder if a straight swap with 2018 Fatbob controls would work...?
Picked her up yesterday, had a good 80mile blast after work. WOW - the performance is unreal, it pulls like a train through all the gear and rev ranges - I'm actually finding the controls comfortable now im a little more used to it. The taste of bugs has never been sweeter!
Very nice - always have like the street bobs. Only thing I might do right away other than the standard exhaust, air and tune, would try pushing bars forward some. Hard to tell from pics, but looks like they pull back a good bit. I have long arms and pushing the bars forward would be a more natural position for me with the mid foot controls. Have fun with it

Yea I pushed the bars forwards a bit , it suited me better.
I love he street bob. I had a Dyna version of it a couple years ago. The biggest thing that felt better to me was putting forward controls on. The stock bars felt surprisingly good.
