Bowman sissy bar install
Hello! I just bought a 2017 Softail Slim and the Bowman Sissy bar came in. How on earth does that fit between the fender and the strut? I have the 4 bolts out but it still doesn't want to slide in there. I am using some masking tape, I read that in a thread on here and glad I did. On the strut around where the bolt fits it's extra thick and can't seem to get the bar in there. Thanks for any tips!

Just loosen up two more forward bolts and it will slide in, if you have not found out by now these bolts have locktite on them you may have to apply a little heat to them.
I used an old phillips head screw driver and just heated the tip.
