Always ran 6 - 7 " drag bars on my Softails.
5'9" after fusion and de-generated discs.

Not too aggressive . Got a deal on some 1 1/2" Carlini drag bars that were 8" and always thought they (looked) too high.
Very comfortable though.

Not sure the rise and pull back on these. (Arlen Ness???)

Messing around with fork cover mock-fit-up.

These have the most pull back of any I have run. Plenty wide also.
They remind me of Fairless builds. (can't stand any of them)
So built the bikini fairing partly to cover them up :-)
Working on a Batwing style now.

I found some trashed Deuce bags on Craigslist. I wanna say they still wanted a K?
The ones on Ebay were black and 1400.00. Look for "sold items"? Same price as new. No longer produced.
If some one wants those bags. They are at your mercy.

Did you get a good deal from the widow?

I would keep them unless you are trying to fund other mods?
Do they come on-off easily? Hidden hardware?

$7K for the bike. Bags have bracketry (which I'm sure was expensive) that invloves removing the back wheel. Bags themselves, are simple on and off, like bagger bags.

If you’ve got skinny fingers you can get those mounts off without removing the back wheel. I had them and was able to. You can get a wrench in there between the tire and fender to hold the nut as you loosen the bolt. The mounts inside the fender (built into the fender, not part of the bag mounts themselves) are slotted with a larger hole at one end. Loosen the bolts and slide the mounts forward and they’ll come right off. Back in ‘01 I paid around $700 for bags and mounts. It all came together.

Are those V & H 2-1? I just ordered the Big Radius 2-1 for my bike. So those are Carlini 8"? I'm very torn between T-bars and Apes, but those look nice. Have a side pic of them? How tall are you? Pics of you on the bike?

Just saw you're 5'9. that's close enough

I (think) those are Arlen Ness???

I still have the 8" 1 1/2" Carlinis with a torpedo shaped tach in the middle. Should try to sell them?

Like the pipes a lot!
The Bub Stubbies were minimal with perfect lines to match the bike. (even the slash lined up with the swingarm)
But I have had them on since 2000. (bought this bike new)

Interested in selling your exhaust? I just joined and cannot PM yet but I may be interested in them if you're interested in selling them.
