Default 2015 Heritage Classic Chrome Wheel Cleaning Issue

Hi,
Has anyone experienced this. I have a 2015 Heritage with about 3000 miles on it and I noticed the back chrome spoked wheel getting kind of dirty and blackish so I decided to clean the wheels. I thought it was road dirt and brake pad dust. I used S100 Wheel Cleaner as per the instructions and over 95% of the dirt and grime was removed. But there are still little black specks on the rear wheel and I am trying to remove it. When you run your finger on the chrome it feels like tiny little speck bumps. The wheel isn't pitted. Can it be particles from the drive belt? Anyone have any ideas or a product that may help with this? Thanks! Maybe I should have rinsed the wheels sooner then 3000 mile but the bike has never been in the rain or rode in inclement weather. i assumed it was just dirt.

If it truly is black chrome, try some NeverDull. Stuff works really well on silver chrome.

^^^What he said. The specks may be nothing more than road tar. I get that frequently and Never Dull takes it right off..

Minor correction - the OP said BACK chrome wheel, not Black chrome wheel

I doubt its the belt, it sounds like tar as stated. I've had luck with an HD product that removed bug and tar and used a stupid little sponge called Scrub Daddy. In cold water its mildly abrasive, in warm its less abrasive.. its worked well
