Default Need advice on pull back risers problem

Hi Guys
I installed pullback risers from Deluxe model on my 2014 Slim. I have the issue with clearance between riser and speedo housing. I made it work by installing spacer on lower tripple tree but something is not right. Without spacer i could barely squeeze sheet of paper between riser and speedo. What is wrong with my bike?

I have seen other Slim with exactly same riser at dealership and there was plenty of clearance which I cant do on my bike. Today I even replaced riser bushings but no change. I also tighten stem screw as I expected maybe it was loose on bearing from feont end but all was nice and tight and bike has only 1500 miles on it so it is practically new from factory.

Not sure what I am doing wrong or why will same model with exactly same components has proper space while mine has not.

Pictures below.

Looks like you answered your own question. Your bumper stops are crushed.
I had the same issue, except mine actually would hit. I had to go with straight risers.

What you see is actually spacer I put there so riser dont hit the speedo. Originally there was nothing there. I added this piece of plastic.

Waiting to do the same on mine. Did you ask the dealer what the issue is? The part number for the Deluxe riser is the same as that for the Slim so technically it should work. I don't think there are year differences until you get to the 2018 and I can't imagine that manufacturing tolerances would be that large that some bikes fit and some don't. Please keep us updated.

I believe part number is different for Slim and Deluxe while others on forum reported this is same part. I compared this riser with Deluxe and looks identical. I installed this myself so dealer will not help and I really don’t understand why I see this differencies. Hope someone that has same riser will post pictures of their set up and share some insights as something is off here.

Looks like someone else reported same issue - clearance that can fir only ctedit card. In my case this is barely sheet of paper. Not sure whats the deal as some people have no issue. Wonder if upper tripple tree design changed or something else is the cause?????

After looking at the linked thread, the ones that langwilliams shows are NOT the same as 55900023. The come up much higher and then angle back. The 55900023 risers are shorter and curve back quicker which is why some may be having issues. Now I'm more confused.

Yes that make sense and I always questioned the fact why will MoCo assign different PN to same part. They are not that stupid so most likely this part is for different model?

Would be nice to hear from someone that compared the two items side by side ir know what the part you mentioned is for....
