Greetings - I want to add turn signal indicators to my Heritage Softail. Anyone done this?
I hate having to look all the way down to see if my turn signals are on. If I can even see them given sun reflections etc. Its always bothered me, given the kind of turn signal buttons HD uses, that I have to look down just to figure out if my signals are on or not. It has scared me more than once doing this in heavy traffic.
You would have to spice something in to your current wiring system i am not aware of any upgrades to preform this but never looked i am sure you’ll find something. Good Luck
Thanks for the Dennis Kirk idea. If nothing else they may be able to help me figure out the best place to tap into the existing wiring. I actually already have the indicators - found them on Amazon for about the same price. I bought a Tsukayu detachable fairing (looks great) and bought these lights with the intent to put them in the fairing. But I'd like to have them even when I don't have the fairing on. So, still working on this....
Thanks
