I have a 2018 Fatboy 114 stock with only 215 miles on it. I experience a slight bounce no matter how smooth the road is at any speed. I have had it back to the dealer and had them take a look. They have test road it and said "that's just the way it rides with the bigger tires". Has anyone experienced anything like this or have a suggestion or two.

Define "bounce" - On straights, like a shimmy or vibration? Over bumps, like not enough dampening of the shock? I don't feel that on mine. Did you set your preload correctly? Is this new, i.e. just started happening where it didn't before?

If your preload is set correctly, are your wheel weights still all there? Also as escalade asked, if it's not like a 70's cadillac, meaning smooth and bouncy, but more like a vibration that Mchad asked about then it could be out of balance. Or out of round.
I had a 2018 Fat Boy 107. Tire pressure should be set to factory specs or the tires will compress and rebound. Set the rear shock for your weight per the OM. Too much preload and it'll give a rough ride. They do work well if set up like HD recommends.
I liked my FB and it was fun to ride. But I realized I was a whitewall and spoke rim guy so traded. The FB is a bit louder exhaust and seemed to have more power than my Deluxe. All good.

I am actually amazed at how well the suspension is set up stock. Every, I mean EVERY HD I’ve ever owned (ok, well that’s only 5), the first ride I’m thinking to myself “Damn I need shocks and fork carts or at least a race tech setup in the fork”.
Not this one. The monoshock seems very good, and even with about half it’s available preload left. Now I’m sure my usual Ohlins setup will be an improvement, but honestly I’m not highly motivated to do it immediately. And I really would like to know what they did to the forks. From what I understand it’s still just a dampening rod setup, but it feels excellent, again, even to my 6’3” 300lb lumbering ***.
I have a 18 FB 114.. I had the bike behave weirdly when I first got it. It had a hop out of the rear and a float in the front. 2 things were changed
A) The rear preset was on stupid hard (I think 4) and it was dialed back to 1 which was proper. I was also low on fork oil. All good now...

Sounds like we got a cartridge emulator. Seems a little harsher when I whack a pothole than the racetech emulator, if I remember correctly, but that was a way different bike and a long time ago so I probably don't.
I'm flabbergasted how well the thing handles. So yeah I kinda doubt it's the suspension, it's pretty darn good right out of the box. Suspect PA1195 has the right answer.
