I just extended my wires for 16"bars connected everything back exactly like it was. My problem is when I turn the bike on all my switches work except the right and left turn signal and the starter button.confused any suggestions this is on a 08 heritage?
Ok you have pwr to the switches?
yes?
Then , do you have pwr when you close them.?
Do you have pwr on the other side?.
If you do, follow that wire to your junction that you unhooked, made up for the longer bars.
Is there pwr there?
Do the simple shet first-
Was your Batt unhooked?
Are ALL the now hooked up to it?
Next, i am sort of thinking a lot of new stuff has a LOT of relays involved and being you have a commonality involved -you may have left a ground disconnected somewhere.
So are your relays pulling in? (if applicable)
Check to make sure the pins are seated correctly in the connectors under the tank. I had this exact same thing happen to me one time, and it turned out that one of the female pins wasn't locked into the plug, so when I connected the connectors together, it got pushed back, and didn't make contact.
