Been wanting another bike for years and it never worked out. Finally I have worked hard enough to get to a point where I could get one. So yesterday the wife and I set out to visit all the local dealers. Had my mind set that I wanted a heritage so that's all we looked at. Found one clean 04 at the first dealer we stopped at but was not impressed at all with the way the dealer and sales guys were. We were in the store for 30 min before we even had a sales guy come talk to us then when he did he wasnt rhe most helpful.
so off to the second dealer, we got there and 2 hours later got approved for a 2016 but was a little more money than I wanted to spend but was a really nice bike.
off to the 3rd dealer. We pulled in and sitting outside was the one we wanted.
within an hour we signed papers on a 2007 model that is silver and blue. Had every option we wanted and then some. Loaded with chrome. Bike has a small dent on the front fender but I got a buddy that has a body shop that will fix that for us. They knocked $600 off for the dent and threw in 2 brand new tires at no cost to us.
they didnt have time in the day to put the tires on so they will get those on the first of this week and I'll have to drive back up on the 12th ti pick the bike up.
spent all morning today cleaning up and making room for it at the house.
cant wait to get her home.
I'll post some pictures up tomorrow morning
