Hmmmm....that bobber makes it a tough call. I’m only in my 50’s so I’d probably keep it....
CB is nice for a factory springer, but you have something waaay cooler imo. Have you ridden the TC “B” motor? It might not scratch the itch the way that Evo does. They always bored me a little.
Unless you’re sloggin on the freeway not sure how much the 6th gear will matter.
I guess if you’ve ridden the CB and decided you love it enough to swap, it’s probably the sane move rather than swap your bobber to a new frame.
Love the bike. Handles good. Springer frontends are fairly maintenance intensive but I love mine. I havent had mine on touring run yet. Been inn hospital but they look and ride great. I'm thinking about converting mine to a 510 gear cam otherwise I will leave it mostly alone.
If you can afford it then get both lol. There are more of these for sale than you think so look around to ensure the deal is fair. I love those bikes!!
Thought I would sell my bones when I got my 18 heritage. The heritage is more comfortable, stronger, better handling, etc.etc.etc. After having them both for a year, there is no way I'll sell old Betty bonez. It has the too cool and fun factor times 10.
Your bobber is awesome, but the bones is a great bike, that seems to just be getting greater. Put a tractor seat and some old heritage shocks on it and cruise 400+ miles easy
Well, rode the XBones today. Not really impressed. Nice bike but, not 12K worth of nice. They did tell me they would entertain 10K but, it just didn't do it for me like the Bobber does.
Guess I'll just keep the Bobber. I have the new Heritage for longer rides. Just kick around town on the bobber.
