Well, rode the XBones today. Not really impressed. Nice bike but, not 12K worth of nice. They did tell me they would entertain 10K but, it just didn't do it for me like the Bobber does.
Guess I'll just keep the Bobber. I have the new Heritage for longer rides. Just kick around town on the bobber.
Sorry to hear you werent crazy about the XBones but that Bobber kicks A$$!!! Its always exciting getting a new bike but Being that you have the Heritage I would have stuck with the Bobber as well!! She sure is a beauty!!!
The bobber is a blast to ride. I've just gotten to the point where I ride it 50 or so miles, stop for a bit, get something to eat, etc and move on. I can still do a couple hundred miles a day, it just takes all day. LOL
Crossbones is a cool bike. My only concern would be the clutch getting replaced with 23K on it. Seems like someone might have ridden it hard. Be sure to check it out completely.

Agree completely....how does one burn up a clutch that soon...sounds like abuse.
I would not trade that sweet bobber...keep it AND get the bones.
Other than that....the Bones is an awesome blank canvas to start from....and a unique platform. Harley will never build another Springer.
It's a conversation starter and stands out in a crowd of the "sameness" victims.
They can have mine when they pry it from my cold dead hands.

I love a Springer and was finally able to get one about a year ago. Lots of owners ditch the stock Crossbones seat but I like them. So I picked one up and along with various parts put it on my Springer Classic. I admit that I would not want to ride it on a long trip but that is not what I do with this bike. It's more of a Sunday driver. I absolutely love the thing. I think you will be happy with that CB too. They do hold their value.

No, they offered 8k for the bobber. They said they "may" come down to 10k for the Xbones.
gotcha.. 8k is stil a nice chunk of change... I can see it being tempting.. There's still a fair amount of Xbones around for sale.. not too many like your bobber.
