Securit Code
One thing I have never done or checked on My 05 Fatboy since I have owned it was to either check or set the security pin number. The bike has the factory security system with the push button FOB.
Does anyone have the procedure to check and reset the code?

I believe a 2005 will have the active style security system.... On an active system, with a push button FOB, the FOB doesn't communicate with the TSSM unless you push the FOB button. So as long as the security is disabled, the TSSM wouldn't know if a FOB was present or miles away....
And on step #14 - "Before the module rearms, turn ignition key to OFF to store the new pin in the module". On an active security system, the module won't rearm unless you push the FOB button.
Is this the procedure for a passive security system (no button FOB) or the active security system (FOB w/button)...?
What am I missing....?
yours should have a button on the remote, some body was nice enough to get directions for a proximity remote I believe.
