Have recently fitted Screaming Eagle HD compensator upgrade, all good, however am getting quite a clunk when I stop the engine, have been told this is just the back lash from compensator, any thoughts/idea’s people ????
Hi, are all the spring plates properly installed.
If not, they will not give enough resistance and allow the compensator to rotate further than required. When switching off the engine this all comes back to normal=> clunck. I have a screaming eagle compensator and don't have this issue. Maybe worth checking it out.
Also make sure the torque of the T70 bolt is correctly applied.
