Smoke around exhaust
I have an 06 Heritage and bought the samson true duel exhaust for it used... the pipes were all blued so i painted them with the 1200 degree exhaust paint before installing them. I put them on today and i am getting smoke around where the pipes bolt to the motor. I am not sure if the paint is causing this or if maybe the exhaust rings aren't making a good seal. Has anyone used this stuff and had a similar experience? How long till it goes away? Any help with this matter would be great.
