The speedo on my 05 is kinda shltty, the condensation some mornings is so bad I can barely read it. I do look at my speedo often in town because my local PD can be serious dicks. I've been considering the Harley upgrade Combo Speed/Tach. https://www.harley-davidson.com/stor...ter-tachometer
Question is, does the tach work? I don't want a dead dial.
The older bikes may not have the gear indicator like the newer ones. So therefore the Speedo/Tach won't be able to utilize the function if it isn't present. The Datalink cable reads all the info from your current Speedo and transfers it over to the new one. I asked about the tach because I don't have one in my current speedo. I just don't want a dead dial.
