Default 2019 Fatboy

I bought a 2019 Fatboy 114. Love the bike.
Only problem you feel you sit on top of the tank. Was going to buy a Tallboy two up seat from Harley but has bad revues. next option Saddleman Explorer seat. Any suggestions I'm 5ft 10" 240lbs

Checked it out looks good.
Spoke to Saddleman in USA last week via emails they say same riding position as the stock seat.
All reports from people is that you do sit further back on the bike. For me moving back 2" would be great.

I wonder if they understood what you were coming off of. My placement is definitely up and back. And I then bought risers to bring the bars back to me. The pictures tell the tale. I was able to scoot back on the stock seat to get what turned out to be the natural position on the Explorer but my butt always slid back down and forward.

I think HD makes these nice cushy seats that feel good during a short test ride, knowing that a lot of folks are going to end up sitting on a Tallboy, after the purchase and at an additional cost. THat's what the cynic in me says anyway.

I meant the risers. How tall are you to compare.

Cheers

Yeah, 4 or 4-1/2 I can't remember for sure, but they're HD. I'm 6"1" and was about 225lbs when I first bought the seat. It made a big difference for me.

you can try out all the Harley seats at no charge at your dealer. I did that and bought a Hammock seat and backrest. I have only put about 1k miles on it and only about 400 miles at one time but I like it so far. I usually put Corbin seats on my bikes. I am 5'10" and 180 lbs.

I kept the test seats for several days to get a decent experience with them.
