I'm back and forth about the axle covers. I agree with the other poster that they "pop out" too much, but then again after a while they kinda grow on me. I 100% agree on the round mirrors and handgrips though. I'd maybe start looking at some new rotors as well since your out shopping.
Axle covers, yea, I think that I might go back to chrome. Without the fender I don't get debris in my face, but any kind of water, even just a light mist on the road from landscape sprinklers, comes right up the front of the bike and into my face. The headlight ends up getting covered in dirty water spots, as well as, the front of the motor, front exhaust and the gas tank. I have a cut down fat boy fender that I put on if I going to be riding all day. Thanks for the comments. Its one thing to get a compliment from someone who just likes bikes, it's alot better to get comments from you guys who have done alot of great things to your bike. Spooner.
I agreed its VERY nice, but has anyone looked close at theoil tank?
Looks like its got a small painting of a girl on there with the word "Dangerous" under it.
Any chance of getting a bigger pic of that?
