I’ve been away from the HD world for a few years for the most part but plan on changing all the fluids in my 2008 Night Train this weekend. My plans are to use Mobil 1 V-Twin 20W-50 in the engine, Redline V-Twin Transmission with Shockproof in the transmission but not real sure to use in the Primary. Anything particular you fellas would recommend? Bike has 5K miles on it.

I have 83K miles on my 09 Night Train. I used Mobile 1 in the engine, redline primary and Bel Ray in the tranny. I have had zero issues with my engine. Zero issues with my tranny since I switched (used HD formula + and had a bearing go bad) also used HD Forula+ in the primary bit switched to Redline primary and have way less metal shavings on my magnet.
Honestly, I've tried a number of fluids in my primary and I've found that the standard Harley fluid performs the best. It give the smoothest shift of all of them. A friend that I ride with uses Amsoil and that works well in his bike as well..
