Fatboy 21" front wheel
Until last year I was the proud owner of a 2006 Softail Springer. Economics forced its sale but we are back in good shape now. Came across a 2007 Fat Boy, low miles with a flat spoke 21" up front and about 1" lowered in the rear. It felt kind of heavy at low speed whereas the Springer always had a nimble feel, almost Sportster like turn-in. The Springer had a narrow Avon on the front and I liked it. The Fat Boy has a wide Dunlop on the 21" wheel. So my question is could I switch to a more narrow Avon for the Fat Boy? Once it gets moving I like the way it rides, I'm just looking to improve the handling at low speed, improve turn-in.

Thanks for your reply, work schedule kind of put the "kabash" on riding for a couple of weeks but I'm back now. Front 21" is a 130 on a 3.5" wide wheel. The front tire is almost new so I'll ride it for a while and try something less wide when it is time for a change.
