I'd love to have a Rocker C with a new seat and pipes. I'd also have to lift the tank. The paint options against that chrome looks cool. Everyone hangs up on the seat, but I have yet to own a bike with the stock seat.
I'd have to be my second bike though. I wonder what the price difference is between the Rocker C and a Big Dog? The entry level Big Dogs were going for $18,000 in March at Bike Week. If these prices are still good, I'd have to go with a real chopper.
what a tough decision this is...the more you guys say no bc its stupid or ugly, just makes me want to show you what it could be. i knowthis bikehas great potential!!
Your money, Your Choice no matter how stupid we think it is!
Don't let us steer you away from your decision, Only you can decide what is right for you! Different strokes for different folks I have only been voicing my opinion and I still hold strong about my opinion....THE ROCKER IS HIDEOUS....
Come on guys! Do you not have faith in Boone's ability to make a bike look good? I mean Night Trains are nice bikes but he has made his stand out with his mods way more than a stocker. I doubt he'd get a Rocker and just leave it stock. It may not be right the way it comes from the factory, but the potential is HUGE. Just a few choice mods could make that thing look insane. That being said though, I'm not so sure I could trade my bike in no matter how cool I thought a new model was. Also, if his is a 2005 or earlier he won't ever be exposed to so much emissions testing even when they crack down more on the 2006+ bikes.
The way the fender hugs the rear tire is hot.....and no other Harley off the floor without having been chopped will look like that. Have fun w/the Rocker man! Itll be a while though right? Septemberish?
thanks for having faith guys...i got a visual of it...itll look good. my newest thought is this....no one likes the rear seat bc it sits way up high, right? Well, before i even pick it up im gonna have it slammed. That will bring the passenger seat down to a perfect level....and im gonna put my stock air cleaner on the night train when i get rid of it, so my d&m spike will go on the rocker right away. While i wait for it ill pick up pipes, handlebars, grips, footpegs, and 3" extensions. you guys can hate on it when i post pics. Also, anyone know what how much assembly is done at the dealer?
The way this thing looks, and that foldoutback seat for the ladies....i dont think they come WITH the bike, but shortly after purchase.[sm=icon_rock.gif]
