Default Marlin gauges

Looking at Marlin cylinder head temperature gauge,anyone know how they perform,or is this a waste of money?I have an oil cooler,use Royal Purple,and have a oil bag thermometer.2005 Fatboy

For over 100 years people have been riding without these gauges.Not exactly a dynamic breakthrough.I've never once thought, "damn, if I only knew my head temp,I'd feel safer".

did u mean oil pressure gauge that mounts to head?

I have the Marlin's oil/head temperature gauge.
Works fine but all it can do is give you some peace of mind.
When I rode through the desert (115 degrees), I could see my oil temp. Head temp stayed under so I knew the engine was fine.
