Default 91 heritage softail

Okay let me tell you a little about this bike im the second owner of this motorcycle and it has 18,000 original miles and was garage kept about two weeks ago I was out on a joyride with the old lady and the bike. Sounded like I was being am a$$ and holding in the clutch and reving the $hit out of it and then it literally just shut off about a half a mile away from home I pushed it back to the house because I'm not letting my bike sit and we get back to the house I have no power other than the headlights can somebody please give me an idea I've read numerous forums everyone says check the fuses however this bike doesn't have fuses it seems like it only has three resistors replaced the ignition switch I have headlights now but no power anywhere else however if I pop the seat and override the starter relay I can get the motor to crank but no spark any ideas?

Not sure if this helps or not, but there should be a bunch of fuses.

Does not apply to this era Softail...

Ironbeard:

There are no fuses on that bike, it has 3-15 amp circuit breakers (Ignition, lights, accessory), and one 30 amp main circuit breaker.

Stop buying parts and guessing, this is a very simple electrical system, easy to troubleshoot.

Make sure the battery is fully charged, remove the dash panel and get out your voltmeter.

Let us know when you are ready.

Many apologies, I should really read details more carefully!
