BAL tailight. HOLY FRIGGN CRAP!

So, said I'd report back on the flickering. Last night I started by ensuring the plug from the BAL to the bike had a good connection. Turned on the power, running light was steady. Started the bike up (in neutral, obviously), sure enough, BAL flickered. Killed it all, took the BAL off, put the stock light back in, just hanging from the plug. Fired up the bike. No flicker. Kill the bike. Properly finish mounting the stock tail/brake light. Fire up the bike. Steady as can be.
So, not sure....but will be contacting BAL today, as it looks like it has gone bad. I bought, for my wife's bike and sidecar, an external module that does the same thing, but if I use it, I'm back to incandescent and I really want those bright-*** LED's!
Checking my email, looks like I've had it a little over two years.

Well..... actually it can be too bright..... Technically, anything brighter than DOT rating is too bright....
We need limits because too many people these days, don't realize it's NOT all about them and their needs. There has to be a balance....
It's great to be seen, but it's not great to be blinded by the guy who thinks his visibility is all that matters.....

If it's anything like on my 16 Heritage: Undo two screws, put sticky-side foam gasket on, plug wires in, re-screw. 10 minutes.
