Default Fat Boy S BCM b2137 Error

I just picked up a '16 FLSTFBS (2nd owner) and found out the previous owner put in a LED headlight assembly (no brand identifier) with a CANBUS anti-flicker error free module with it. When I use the high beam, I get the BCM error code b2137. Since this is still "new" to me, I ran it back by the dealer and they confirmed the code is only for the headlight and will not affect the bike at all. The code means the low beam is getting feedback when the high beam is being used.

I have looked all over the net in different posts from other sites and nothing from this site shows up. Anyone else experiencing this with LED headlights? Is there a fix for this?

Default same exact problem same bike

did anyone get back to you on this issue? only thing I have seen so far as a fix is installing a resistor or buying a different led headlight. does anyone have a list or just a couple proven headlights that are compatible with canbus? i.e. DO NOT throw codes without resistors. be nice if we code get a few models that are not $200+ that are known to work correctly. error codes and items that could potentially cause excess heat in the wiring is not something I prefer. thanks in advance gents.

I have not heard or read anything yet. I had a Wisamic before and going to replace my existing one soon. I'll post the results. Thanks for the follow up.

Yeah NP, somebody here has to have some insight on which led headlights work without popping that code. Without breaking the bank.

Probably cheap ebay special. I’d just buy a better brand

Thats the thing theres probably a million different ones in the 30-100 dollar price range. There has to be one that works by now that doesn't cost 200-500$
