Clutch cable problem on my Heritage after bar install
I installed some 14" Carlini's on my 2012 Heritage. I was getting some forward creep on my clutch so I took it into the dealer for clutch adjustment. All has been good, but with my last ride it has all gone bad. During the ride, I notice my clutch cable became really loose and would not engage when pulling it in, this was while underway at about 65mph. I pulled on the cable itself, the lining and it all seemed to work ok after that. After getting it home I adjusted the cable (Magnum) to take a little slack out of it. Then this past Sunday after about 20 miles I again had no clutch, thank God it happened as I was getting home. I called the dealership today and they told me to take it in. I tried to get it started and no way I could get it there as it wouldn't even go into 2nd gear. I let it die on it's own, after hard shifting into 1st, I had no clutch. I was only a couple hundred yards from home and had to push it back home from down the street.
Thoughts on what it could be please? I'll need to trailer it if I take it in, but I'd like to have a go at it myself. I just can't get the cable to tighten enough, taking the slack out of it allowing that little play of the lever.
Thanks,,,
Adrian

When I took it from the dealership it was perfect. After I went on a long ride it went limp on the road. I took that slack out from the adjustment on the cable and now it's all messed up. Now I can't get the slack out at all.
Could be the clip in the transmission snapped off and the plate the holds the ***** twisted.
Who installed the new clutch cable? Or do you have an EZ clutch installed?
