To save the $100 month winter storage, I was considering leaving the bike at my complex tucked up tight in my reserved spot. Room for both car and bike.
What are the downsides to removing the battery and storing indoors on my tender?
I did it with my Dyna a few years ago and the bike was throwing codes, had trouble starting. Current bike is an
05 Heritage and fuel injected.
Thanks.
If you are going to store the battery indoors, there is no need to keep it on a tender.
Connect it to the tender after you pull it out of the bike, and once it shows the battery is fully charged you can disconnect the tender and put the battery in an out of the way place.
When it is time to reinstall the battery, go ahead and connect it to the tender just to be sure it is ready to go.

Thank you, should I be concerned about codes or my Dyno Jet tuner?
