Is it a single sided caliper? If so it could also be the pins the caliper slides on.
Once a problem is encountered with the braking system I would be inclined to strip it all down for a thorough inspection and clean replacing worn parts as necessary.

Well, I measured the front rotor thickness and it's only .190" and replacement is at .180" so a new rotor is in play too. I think with the rotor worn (probably from sticking caliper) and worn pads, that the caliper pistons came out too far and got stuck. I'm going to get a caliper rebuild kit with new pads and rotor, and i think that should do it. Also, I"ve been trying to find out the diameter of the front rotor, is it 11.5" or 11.8? My service manual is on it's way, but if anyone knows, i'd appreciate it!
