I laced and trued a 21x3.25 wheel up to the stock hub and mounted a 120/70-21 Dunlop Elite. It definitely looks better that the 80/90x21. The new tire does clear the fender. Haven't ridden on it yet.
One note... if you are mounting the 21x3.25 rim from Jireh to the stock hub, you will need 9 1/8" spokes. The stock 9 5/8" spokes are too long.
Who’s new rim did you us for the mod ? Brand name and part # . Did you buy the spokes from them also ?
and what was the total cost of the job with out the tire .

I probably wouldn't have done this had I known the original spokes wouldn't work and I needed custom ones.(The drop center of the new rim was not the same as the original)
I had the spokes made by Buchanan's. They were pricey at $170 for 40 SS polished, with nipples.
The rim was $55.
The rim strap and tube from Drag Specialties were $25.
8oz Ride-On was $14.
