Default Fatboy wheels on a deluxe

I know it’s on here (seems like I say that with most of my posts, but I’m on my lunch break), but I tougher, rust-free wheels on my deluxe, and black powder coated fatboy wheels fit the bill. My deluxe is a 2009, and I’ve heard that 00-06 16x3 fatboy alloys will work. Is this true; does anyone know for sure? Because I found a set and I need to make a move. Thanks

You may have to get the proper bearing kit to fit your axles. Everything else (spacers etc) should be the same. I believe the older wheels are 1" axles the 09 may be a 25mm. Simple to swap out the bearing and HD sells the complete kit with bearings and internal spacers etc.. Good luck on your purchase.
