No. My Heritage sounds like a real Harley (especially since I ditched the stock exhausts and replaced them with slipons).

It's the engine, not the exhaust. The engine has a constant swishing sound.

Does washing machine = loud? Which engine? I have a 96 cubic inch softail that I think runs a lot quieter than the 103 in a RK I have.
AT times the 103 sounds (to me) like a sewing machine instead of a washing machine.

I have the 96 too, but I wear ear plugs so I don't have to listen to the engine noise. Sounds like a washing machine filling up with water. I know it's a hard mount, so expect more engine noise.

Remember B Motors have about 80 miles of chains whirring. Against tensioners.
Its gonna make noise.
Fair trade off.

Yeah, that's probably what it is. Wonder if I need a new shoe.

And the "B" has "counter balancers" that make them sound different from the "A" motors. This is why they cn be hard mounted and not rubber mounts like the "A" on Dynas and Touring.

I have two Victory's, both hard-mount, counter-balanced and no noise from the engine at all.

Sounds like you should sell that Harley and go strictly the plastic snowmobile route.
