422 shock broken shaft

Default 422 shock broken shaft

Hey guys!

I bough this 422 progressive shock that is broken at the shaft.

You think it is repairable? I was thinking of replacing the broken shaft with a standard lowering kit bolt (I'll post a pic) let me know what u think. .

This is a lowering kit from progressive suspension but maybe it can act as a replacement piece for my 422's.

Or maybe this will work, from harley? You think the threads are the same as the progressive 422's.

Why wouldn't you just get replacement parts from Progressive or send them in for proper repair?
