Default 2012 FLSTF Fork issues

I have a 2012 FLSTF Fat boy with a Roadsmith conversion installed. The front seals were leaking and I began disassembly, but when I saw the tubes as they installed into the tree, it didn't look like the standard configuration. There are no clamps on the lower triple tree and no capture nuts on the top of the upper triple tree assm. to hold the tubes in place. Thee are also a pair of tube extensions on the top of the tubes as the fit into the top triple tree. The tubes will not un-thread from the top triple tree assm. with moderate torque and I am not seeing any method how the tube is locked into the lower tree assm. Has anyone had any experience on this assm?
See the pictures of the assembly attached.
