Relax Francis. Canadian humor can be subtle. You may have missed it this time. Also, you may have forgotten the difference between American English and British English (eg: color and colour). Is it esthetics or aesthetics ?

I switched to smaller round mirrors for esthetics. OEM mirrors are oversized IMHO. You don't need barn door mirrors to see what's behind you.
That's the size of mirrors that I have on my Springer and they work just fine for me. If adjusted right, I don't have any problems seeing what is behind me and there's also no noticeable vibration.
